Overview

Class: mesos::master

This module manages Mesos master - installs Mesos package and starts master service.

Sample Usage:

class{ ‘mesos::master’: }

Parameters:

[*single_role*]
  Currently Mesos packages ships with both mesos-master and mesos-slave
  enabled by default. `single_role` assumes that you use only either of
  those on one machine. Default: true (mesos-slave service will be
  disabled on master node)
[*manage_service_file*]
  Whether override default service files (currently supported only for systemd)
  default: false

mesos-master service stores configuration in /etc/default/mesos-master in file/directory structure. Arguments passed via $options hash are converted to file/directories

Parameters:

  • enable (Boolean) (defaults to: true)
  • cluster (String) (defaults to: 'mesos')
  • conf_dir (String) (defaults to: '/etc/mesos-master')
  • work_dir (String) (defaults to: '/var/lib/mesos')
  • conf_file (String) (defaults to: '/etc/default/mesos-master')
  • acls_file (String) (defaults to: '/etc/mesos/acls')
  • credentials_file (String) (defaults to: '/etc/mesos/master-credentials')
  • master_port (Integer) (defaults to: $mesos::master_port)
  • zookeeper (Optional[Variant[String,Array[String]]]) (defaults to: $mesos::zookeeper)
  • zk_path (String) (defaults to: $mesos::zk_path)
  • zk_default_port (Integer) (defaults to: $mesos::zk_default_port)
  • owner (String) (defaults to: $mesos::owner)
  • group (String) (defaults to: $mesos::group)
  • listen_address (Optional[String]) (defaults to: $mesos::listen_address)
  • manage_service (Boolean) (defaults to: $mesos::manage_service)
  • env_var (Hash) (defaults to: {})
