Section/setting name to manage from placement.conf

Properties

• ensure (defaults to: present)

  The basic property that the resource should be in.

  Supported values:

  • present
  • absent
• value

  The value of the setting to be defined.

Parameters

• ensure_absent_val (defaults to: )

  A value that is specified as the value property will behave as if ensure => absent was specified

• name (namevar)

  Section/setting name to manage from placement.conf

  Supported values:

  • /\S+\/\S+/
• provider

  The specific backend to use for this ‘placement_config` resource. You will seldom need to specify this — Puppet will usually discover the appropriate provider for your platform.

• secret (defaults to: false)

  Whether to hide the value from Puppet logs. Defaults to ‘false`.

  Supported values:

  • true
  • false
