Puppet Class: aide::set_schedule

Defined in:
manifests/set_schedule.pp

Overview

Sets a schedule for AIDE to run a check on your system

Parameters:

  • method (Enum['root', 'etc', 'systemd']) (defaults to: pick(getvar('aide::cron_method'), 'systemd'))

    How you wish to schedule the run

  • systemd_calendar (Optional[String[1]]) (defaults to: getvar('aide::systemd_calendar'))

    If ‘$method` is `systemd`, set this exact calendar string

    This is not verified, use ‘systemd-analyze calendar` on a modern system to ensure that you have a valid string

  • minute (Simplib::Cron::Minute) (defaults to: pick(getvar('aide::minute'), fqdn_rand(59)))

    ‘minute` cron parameter

  • hour (Simplib::Cron::Hour) (defaults to: pick(getvar('aide::hour'), 4))

    ‘hour` cron parameter

  • monthday (Simplib::Cron::Monthday) (defaults to: pick(getvar('aide::monthday'), '*'))

    ‘monthday` cron parameter

  • month (Simplib::Cron::Month) (defaults to: pick(getvar('aide::month'), '*'))

    ‘month` cron parameter

  • weekday (Simplib::Cron::Weekday) (defaults to: pick(getvar('aide::weekday'), 0))

    ‘weekday` cron parameter

  • command (String) (defaults to: pick(getvar('aide::cron_command'), '/bin/nice -n 19 /usr/sbin/aide --check'))

    ‘command` cron parameter
